This process and discipline led to the formation of Fulcrum Metals focussed on highly prospective multi mineral prospects in Ontario.
Edward Slowey
Technical Director
Ed Slowey holds a BSc degree in Geology from the National University of Ireland and is a founder member of The Institute of Geology of Ireland. Ed has more than 40 years’ experience in mineral exploration, mining and project management including work as a mine geologist at the Navan zinc-lead mine in Ireland and as exploration manager for Rio Tinto in Ireland, leading to the discovery of the Cavanacaw gold deposit. He has worked in Africa, Europe, America and the FSU in the areas of JV negotiation, exploration planning and feasibility study management for a range of commodities. Consulting work included completion of CPR’s and 43-101 technical reports for stock exchange listings and fundraising. Ed currently serves as technical director at AIM-listed Galileo Resources and Bezant Resources.
Aidan O’Hara

An experienced private investor of over 30 years within the stock market and private enterprise. Strong business background having founded a number of companies including a multi-million pound property business that has been running for over 20 years and a private mining company in West Africa. Co-founded 4 Consult Group sourcing contacts and potential projects which in-turn resulted in Fulcrum Metals having identified suitable mining assets in a safe jurisdiction of Ontario.
Mitchell Smith

Mitchell is currently CEO of TSXV listed Global Energy Metals Corp and COO of LSE listed Panther Metals. He is an accomplished executive and business development professional with deep experience and proven success developing and executing on corporate strategies, marketing relationships and maximising business opportunities in the natural resource sector.

James M Franklin
PhD FRSC, P Geo, Special Advisor
Jim is specialised as a geochemist in Canadian shield ore deposits, notably serving as the Chief Scientist for the Geological Survey of Canada (1992-1998), responsible for steering the GSC’s entire science program, as well as chairing the Federal-Provincial Geological Surveys committee. Jim also has worldwide VMS experience having led the GSC’s Marine Minerals Program (1981-1991), discovering and drilling “black smoker” systems on the modern seafloor: From this combination of sea- and land-based work, he developed a robust set of guidelines that help steer modern exploration. Jim is a board member of three companies (Ur Energy, Nuinsco Ltd., and Gold79Mines), and has been involved for them in the development of base metal, gold and uranium resources. For these and other companies that he advises he has been recently active in the Ring of Fire, Sturgeon Lake, Nevada, Wyoming and Mexico.
Jim is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a Fellow of Lakehead University, an Adjunct Professor at several Ontario Universities, and a Past President of both the Geological Association of Canada and the Society of Economic Geologists. In January 2019, he was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. He has published over 200 papers and book chapters, and innumerable abstracts.
His passion is his continuing work towards the discovery of more new mines throughout the world, with a focus on geochemical and alteration aspects of base metal, silver and gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits.
