The vision for growth of the company is centred around diversification across metals and active greenstone belts delivering a large footprint providing a platform to become a significant exploration company in Ontario and maximising opportunities to make discoveries and crystalise value.
So far the company have acquired six early-stage Gold & Base metal projects in Ontario with either substantial historic samples or prospective geology, to prove and develop across four greenstone belts – Schreiber-Hemlo, Michipicoten (Wawa), Winston Lake & Dayohessarah. A large diversified land package totalling 901 claim units (approx. 188 sq. km).
The company continually develops its network identifying and evaluating opportunities in base, precious and energy metals to develop a pipeline of exploration projects with particular emphasis on underexplored, early-stage projects in proven prospective mineral belts.
Canada - A World Class Mining Destination

Canada’s regions are consistently top-rated as mining jurisdictions worldwide - source Fraser Institute 2009 Survey.
-
Top global destination for exploration spending and industrial supply with a robust and thriving junior mineral exploration sector.
-
World class in delivering innovative clean technology for exploration, development, processing and mining supply. Committed to sustainable ethical resource development.
Ontario
-
is the largest producer of gold, platinum-group metals and nickel in Canada, as well as the second-largest producer of copper.
-
experiencing a significant upturn in mining activities and investment.
Opportunity
-
Acquire and consolidate fragmented landholdings with prospective geology with little or no exploration.
-
Conduct structured, focussed, meaningful exploration activities on landholdings to make company making discoveries.
Schreiber-Hemlo Greenstone Belt
Canada’s most prolific mining region. Majors including Teck Resources Ltd, Newmont Mining Corp and Barrick Gold. Junior exploration companies on trend with Fulcrum Metals properties are actively exploring and drilling. Ready Set Gold’s Northshore gold deposit is west along the Terrace Bay Batholith to Fulcrum Metals Jackfish Lake & Kellyn property.
Fulcrum Metals 100% owned Syenite Lake property ties into the Maude Lake property of Transition Metals and the Big Bear property of Panther Metals.
Michipicoten Greenstone Belt
The region has produced over 3 million ounces of gold since the start of the first gold rush in the late 1890s. The belt has a long history of past production, but many historical mining sites remain underexplored by modern methods. This belt is home to the Island Gold mine, operated by Alamos Gold, one of Canada’s highest grade and lowest cost gold mines. Further, the Magino project, owned by Argonaut Gold, is currently clearing the site for construction of a mine, with first gold production forecasted during the first half of 2023.
Fulcrum Metals 100% owned Dog Lake property abuts newly staked land by Craig Brown (ECR) and Frymire property (with numerous Nickel targets with samples 3000-4000ppm Nickel).
Winston Lake Greenstone Belt
between the Shebandowan (east) and Manitouwadge (west) Greenstone Belts. All three belts are bounded to the north by the Qutico sedimentary terrane and host notable base metal past producers.
Shebandowan mine, past production of 8 MT at 2.0% Ni, 1.2% Cu
Winston Lake mine, past production of 3 MT at 14.1% Zn and 1.0% Cu
MGB : Geco mine, past production of 58 MT at 3.5% Zn and 1.9% C
Large uptick in interest in the immediate area of Fulcrum Metals fully owned Beavertrap Lake and Carib Creek properties with acquisition of Lake Superior Zinc projects (a$16.5m and a$3.3 financing) by Metallum Resources bringing institutional investment with Sprott affiliated stakeholders, with the intent to put it back into production.
